Unless the S-pen is a deciding factor the x5 pro is a better choice for the majority of users. Although it falls very slightly short in a few categories the X5 is still my pick. The display is only slightly smaller but the X5 is significantly more comfortable to hold and feels a lot more manageable. The fast charging is far more useful to most than the moderate difference in battery life. The S22 ultra's cameras are slightly better in most measures than those on the X5. However, the X5 still takes fantastic pictures in all situations. Unless you're comparing pictures side by side you will not notice any meaningful difference (except in telephoto pictures). It's not true that the display on the S22 ultra is 66% brighter. Nits are not on a linear scale, 2000 nits are not twice as bright as 1000 nits. As standard, the X5 pro has 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM. This spec of the S22 ultra is ~£250 more expensive. If you value Samsung Dex, the S-Pen, and the telephoto lens, the S22 ultra is the phone for you. Otherwise, the X5 Pro is likely to be a better device for you.
