After seeing this thread 2 weeks ago I purchased 125u probook Instead of the planned 155u ...I saved my self 350usd which I used to upgrade the ram from 8GB to 32GB 5600 and raised the SSD from 512GB to 1TB. Though performance can't beat my former AMD 5825U on LLM which is twice as fast but I'm enjoying battery performance features of the efficient chipset. I can actually do 8 hours of a day's job on Linux kubuntu without charging and still be left with 25% Thanks all for the comments

The marketing hype for the Ultra 7 155U has been overcooked, so the Ultra 5 125U has my money (see what I did there) ๐Ÿคฃ

Don't you think intel shall remove the 125h and the 155u. Why not make the i3 a 7 watt processor, i5 a 15w processor, an i7 a 30w processor, and make the i9 a 45w+ processor.

The Ultra 7 155U doesn't seem worth the extra cost over the Ultra 5 125U. The same core count, and similar performance, just go for the 125U. It seems like the same chip, with only a bit higher boost clock speeds, which could be more challenging to cool.

The ultra 7 appears to be the exact same thing as the ultra 5, but the ultra 7 can boost higher if it has more power, but most of the time it is capped at 15w. So there is no difference. Just buy the core ultra 5 and save some money.
