For gaming any day i ll choose AMD cpu and Gpu, but when it comes to productivity Intel is still superior in consumer class cpus especially for video timeline or Adobe ecosystem pair with nvidia GPU, here in India my entire build cost 5% less compare to AMD hence for that remaining amount I was able to buy extra set of ram.

9900x seems like a far better option for me not only i have a lot of motherboard varities to choose from, the over all build can cost me far less then Intel Ultra 7 also amd is reliable and stable while intel cpu are having trust issue after incident with 13 and 14 gen cpus, both platform are also new as amd has extended am5 support till 2027 you are going to get the next gen amd cpu support on this platform also.

9900x looking more power efficient while having trust of AMD. While Intel is surely looking to make a comeback, but performance is close and AMD is more stable these days
