Why are all the comments here about the chip facts, its funny how much research people try to put in this chip when clearly Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is farrrr superior.

M5 Pro has a 16-core GPU as it is the binned down M5 Pro and Apple didn't change GPU core counts. This means it would have 2048 shading units, 128 TMUs, 64 ROPs, and 256 Execution Units. Also why is it 2.005gHz instead of 2.25gHz as measured. I know you guys are busy but might be worth checking out

Serhii, I like the work being done here on nanoreview and It is also nice to see help coming from comunity tech enthusisats. The TDP of this chip is also 40W.

Serhii, Well its all straigthforward thinking. Last gen M4 pro 12 core had 38W TDP, flagship pro had 46W. While the new core count is 15 cores, GPU core count remians the same. This gives a range between at least 40W-46W as this chip shouldn't exceed last gen flagship because of bigger GPU. Because flagship max processor got a 2W TDP increase from 70W-72W from M4 to M5. Of coruse this is still is speculation, but based off the current facts, putting a TDP between 40-46W wouldnt be a bad idea at least for the time being

Serhii, Wouldn't it be pretty easy estimate. If we consider the TDP of M4 Pro binned down which was 38W, then we can assume a range between 40-45W at least. The base M4 to the M5 jumped from 24W to 27W. Considering also that the flagship M5 Max went from 70W on M4 Max to 72W now. Giving at least 40W is a great estimate. I would personally put it at 42W as the M5 Pro did get a 3 core increase. Even if its not entirely exact, this would be an amazing estimate to give at least for the time being until real numbers arrive.

The clockspeed for the e-core has 4,38 instead of 4.38. A comma was placed instead of a dot.

Why does the m5 pro have a base of 2? All apple M-silicons have always js had one base clock speed which should be 4.61ghz for m5.
