your brother probably has a low TDP 4060 while you have a high TDP 5050, but when both are at max the 4060 is better by default without using frame generation

Stop the cap, mine is R7 7435HS 4060, I compare it with R7 250 5050 5050 performance 6 to 10fps lower than 4060, except in blackmyth it only gave 2 fps difference.
