Ive heard from someone with the Edge that he was actually disappointed by the battery life. The graphic card is also disappointing. To a degree it just seems more like a gimmick device to me

Since most X86 applications are not compatible with Snapdragon X Elite CPU laptops on initial launch, the default winner is the Intel Ultra CPU versions. Full X86 architecture support, good CPU, higher RAM space offering, upgradeable SSD, and a drastically better GPU with Nvidia RTX 4050 or 4070. The Snapdragon X Elite version can get driver updates to fix the initial launch problem and has other redeeming traits. Those are: Faster single core performance, blazing fast RAM speed (8448 Mhz/s), better Wi-Fi/Bluetooth signal strength, and far better battery life.
