Honor 400 has android update support for 6 years. Every other phone has only 4 years. This made an instant decision in this price categorie, i was even thinking about Motorola edge 60, Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro, even Xiaomi 15T and ofc Oppo. But i was looking for a phone for long-term, for atleast an other 6 years. Currently i have a Huawei P10 Lite and i still using it daily since 2017. I would like to support the that company which creates phone for years of usage, not for "trend". I'm sure i wont use 90% of Honor 400's features, but i will have it for 6 years atleast. People should use their phones for years too, so companies less likely make phones with planned obsolescence. People who buying new phones by trend should understand the impact of their behaviour. Companies could create phones for 10 years and their software updates wouldn't cause slowed interface if people would stop changing their phones constantly.
