a really concerning point is that M35 5g has a li-ion battery. A li-ion tends to be better than li-po in terms of endurance and safety. The li-po batteries may catch fire or swells up if short-circuited, thus making li-ion a go-to choice for smartphones. Anybody reading this please don't buy a phone just for it's specs. Safety should be the priority.

Your concern is valid, but there are a few points to clarify. While Li-Po batteries can swell or catch fire if mishandled, modern smartphones have advanced safety mechanisms like Battery Management Systems (BMS) to mitigate these risks. In fact, most flagship and high-quality smartphones today use Li-Po batteries because they are lighter, more flexible, and fit better in slim designs. Li-Ion batteries also have their risks, such as overheating and thermal runaway, which can lead to explosions if the protective circuitry fails. Ultimately, the safety of a battery depends more on the manufacturer’s quality control and design than the battery type itself. You’re right that we shouldn’t focus only on specs, but dismissing phones with Li-Po batteries might not be fair since they dominate the market today due to their practical advantages. It’s better to evaluate a phone based on the brand's reliability and safety measures.
