I have looked at my Redmi and it will change refresh rate depending on what I do. If I'm inactive it goes to 60hz. I have seen 120,90,60,30 hz from the phones shows and yes I can confirm that the mz is what mediatek said the chip's max throttle is.

Why is the performance difference so sizable? Even though the processor and software, as well as most components of both devices, are identical apart from the battery. The X6 Pro is simply the global version of the Chinese K70E.

Xiaomi has down-clocked it to avoid thermal throttling.

Well, It is Because I can see through Developer settings on my X6 Pro that the Cortex A715 at 3.35 GHz is Downclocked to 3.19GHz, Cortex A715 at 3.2 GHz is Downclocked to 3.05 GHz, Cortex A510 at 2.2 GHz is Downclocked to 2.10GHz. Redmi K70E Performance is Unchecked without Downclocking. That's why, there is a Drop in performance of the Poco X6 Pro in comparison to Redmi K70E, but is not Significant by much. Here in India where ambient temperature is at 36⁰C , it helps to put the phone at 40.4⁰C, thus, checking the Development of heat by 2-3⁰C....
