The storage type is UFS 3.1: https://www.mediatek.com/products/smartphones-2/mediatek-dimensity-7350

No, smartphone manufacturers choose which RAM and storage versions they should use for their smartphone, not SoC manufacturers. MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC can support UFS 3.1 doesn't mean smartphone manufacturer will just use that.

fuuk1, So based on what the storage type is UFS 2.2? Not based on the site of Nothing. The type of storage isn't listed there.

Lalala, pretty sure this mobile is just a minor upgrade of 2a, none of the reviews I checked out didn't particularly mention about storage speeds being better than 2a on the 2a plus so I'm willing to trust nanoreview info is actually accurate here. Also this reddit thread :) https://www.reddit.com/r/NothingTech/comments/1ehybbh/does_nothing_phone_2a_plus_has_31_ufs/ This Twitter comment to a leak: https://twitter.com/Cartidise/status/1816853601668702524 Phone 2a Plus is apparently supposed to replace the first smartphone Nothing released, Phone 1, they removed phone 1 from their site last I checked, but Nothing went cheap on 2a Plus, just by replacing some stuff from 2a and just call it a new smartphone that surpasses phone 1. This phone sucks and it shouldn't have happened if they didn't actually have the balls to make an actual effort.
