and why they pair this phone with the already 2-year old Snapdragon 6 gen 1, when processors like SD 6 Gen 3, 6 Gen 4, Dimensity 7300 exists

Khoa, Hi. I'm also in similar situation few weeks back. Same option (Oppo Reno 13 F vs Oppo Reno 12 vs some other phones like Realme 13+). I picked Oppo Reno 12 and I'd say everything about it is better than Oppo 13 F aside from ip69, and curved display (personally not a fan of curved display but it's okay). You mentioned optimize chip and stable performance, then the Dimensity 7300 Energy is stable enough for daily use and some gaming while effectively managing power consumption (better than Oppo Reno 13 F)
