This phone is apparently based on the Redmi Note 14 5G Global... Today, January 5, 2026, there are rumors of the next Poco M8 Pro, and it seems to be based on the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus... which is waaay better than the M7 Pro, so... In brief, the M8 Pro would be a HUGE step up from the M7 Pro... the sad thing is that we lose the jack and micro SD card, but not a big deal. This opens the question for... what phone the X8 Vanilla would be based on... should be a better one than the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus, I think.
