Has Google been sanctioned too? Why is this Tensor processor still garbage after all these years?

So they're still sticking with powervr gpu & now reduced the amount of cores to save battery. lol! Worse is they still price it like a flagship. Only google fans gonna buy this overpriced crap.

That's ridiculous๐Ÿคฃ, Using the old PowerVR GPU will have serious optimization issues, even so they still use it and even downgraded from DXT to CXTP. At least if they don't want to switch from PowerVR to Mali, at least they can stick to the DXT architecture which is already quite good in terms of graphic quality and is starting to be optimized, but strangely they have changed. I mean, why not just switch to DXTP-48-1536, which is more efficient than DXT-48-1536, even than CXTP-48-1536, so in general Google prioritizes COST efficiency It's not battery efficient, using a cheaper GPU but setting a higher PRICE, Tensor is indeed trash in its price class of chips๐Ÿคฃ

Tensor G6 is made on 3nm TSMC N3P process, not 2nm.

Apparently, Google Hardware VP corrected that Tensor G6 was fabbed on TSMC 3nm node, probably N3P. The 2nm Tensor G6 was from a Taiwanese rumour that got mistranslated or madeup or something. Anyways, Tensor G6 is a TSMC fabbed 3nm smartphone SoC.

Google left Samsung and they are still trash ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ __๐Ÿ˜‚__๐Ÿ˜ญ we Exynos fan are smiling ๐Ÿ˜ at least we are better than Tenor G chips , some Snapdragon chips , some mediatek chip & we are improving like a lot but we are still in love with Snapdragon & mediatek because they allow bootloader unlock ๐Ÿ”“......

I think it's going to be similar to the Dimensity 8400, I wouldn't expect anything more than that.

ื›ืจื›, dimensity 8400 supports hardware ray tracing, and Google Tensor G6 doesn't.

Dont expect it to be good. Its a Tensor after all Even the last gen G5 gets mogged by a D8400. I wouldnt be surprised if the G6 gets trashed by a D8500 or even an 8Gen3 in gaming. Theres zero point testing gaming on these because it is so bad with the absolute trash GPU it has If you care about gaming, invest on anything that is Snapdragon or Mediatek.

Toylet, Hmm... Interesting. I did have Xiaomi 17T that really runs on D8500 with 12GB RAM 512GB storage. Everyone claims "flagship killer" with almost flagship specs like cameras, performance is almost flagship level and everything but not really sure about Tensor G6 yet. Saw the specs seems good to me except the GPU itself seems "off" as none of my Android devices running on PowerVR GPU or even AMD GPU that can be found on Samsung devices. Mostly Adreno on some of my Snapdragon based Android devices and Mali GPU on majority of Mediatek devices that I have been used for many years since Lenovo A889 until Xiaomi 17T.

zain, Dimensity 8400 doesn't support hardware accelerated ray tracing, only software based. It's pretty decent at software based ray tracing though.
