Looking at the extensive review done by Phoronix, based on the geometric mean of nearly 400 benchmarks, the 9900x is faster than the 285k. So its not all about Cinebench, which can utilize all cores evenly. In real world tests, the many tasks are not scalable across asymmetric cores, which the Intel CPUs rely on.
