This is a good matchup for 2025 laptops. Both are great for general users, college students not majoring in engineering, photographers, and office workers (only if the manager & IT department approves). The Apple M4 MacBook Air has the advantage in battery life, CPU performance, iGPU, and web camera. Also, the synching with iPhones that are widely used within the USA, Canada, and Japan. The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro has the advantage of better screen, light gaming at 1080p resolution, full X86 compatibility, replaceable NVME SSD, faster NVME SSD read & writes, 2 SSD slots, more ports, and better Wi-Fi. It also has the 2nd best ecosystem next to Apple, but it is tailored more to 30+ adults who own a home (TV, refrigerator, washer, and dryer).
