literally just save your money and buy an s25 for ~$300 refurbished or ~$350-500 new... The only update is a slightly larger battery (that comes with a slight increase in overall dimensions for the phone, I hope that it stays low for small phone lovers) and slightly faster performance you won't notice. I don't understand why Samsung would label something the S26 series if there's not a series-wide distinction, like what makes the s26 series distinctively different from the s25 series? The privacy display! But wait, that's only on the ultra, the other models are the same as last years, but we'll say its the new stuff anyway.

Very few things improved with the base S26. A marginal CPU performance improvement and a 7.5% increase in battery size. I get the market for these phones are for people on a tight budget or teenagers, but charging more and delivering very little extra is not worth the new cost. The base S25 is the better value deal for this market.
