Not really. A18 Pro may be strong in short CPU bursts, but M1 is a full desktop-class SoC. M1 has higher sustained performance, much stronger GPU for long workloads, more memory bandwidth, and far better thermal headroom. In real use cases like video editing, multitasking, or long gaming sessions, M1 clearly pulls ahead. A18 Pro is impressive for a phone, but itโ€™s still limited by power, RAM, and cooling โ€” so theyโ€™re not โ€œthe sameโ€ overall.
