Actually there are 2 new Kirin 9050 Chips. The Pro and the normal one. Time to wait for the normal one. Also, there is the Kirin 9030 vanilla, which is different than the Pro one. And there is the new Kirin 9035.

Some useful expertise info on Kirin 9030 Pro chip .. really insane engineering from DUV lithography machine, 155 mil transistors per mm² is outstanding, it's a doorstep of 3nm .. indeed a real bravura in every way ! https://pavlecom.blogspot.com/2025/11/new-kirin-9030-pro-antutu-score.html And a NEW stuff is coming in a few months, HiSilicon FoldLogic technique for making a SoC, a +53% better than 9030 Pro, a new Kirin chip. About 238 mil transistors per mm², a doorstep of 2nm. Be ready!

I can only in some alternate reality where 🇺🇲 is not a warmonger nation that actually practices open free market. There'll be healthy competition between different manufacturers that also benefits consumers with reasonably priced products & choice! Sadly reality is what it is now! War, chaos, inflation, disparity between the 1% rich & struggling, etc. caused by one country.

Serhii, Yes this is what I said, the Pro is 1+4+4 while the non pro is 1+3+4 You might want to add the non pro version (Kirin 9030) which has some minor difference on the clockspeed and GPU as well.

Joe, Okay, I'll look into that—we might need to add the Kirin 9030 model.

SMIC mentioned that was on the 60% rate, which is decent considering the situation.

"The most shocking finding is that when direct comparisons are done on identical IP, the Arm A510 for Huawei’s Kirin 9000S built on SMIC’s N+2 (7nm) and 2022 Qualcomm’s S8G1 built on Samsung’s 4LPX process (4nm). The performance and power consumption of the Arm A510 cores are effectively on par with each other despite the process technology gap, indicating SMIC N+2 is better than most in the west realize. Part of the reason these chips are so close to each other is Samsung’s poor yield and SMIC’s good yield. Put simply, Kirin 9000S is a better designed chip than the West realizes." IMAGINE, having no access to 6 nanometers below, and yet able to produce this kind of performance by themselves (without the help of other chipset companies)

akp831, Imagine, if the US Citizens vote on a good leader sooner, and he/she doesnt hate chinese products but instead welcome imports from other countries, maybe lifting the ban on huawei taking Huawei to the top again (i knoww this is impossible, but i hope it happens cus i would love to see a great camera with a great processor)

Actually there are 2 Kirins 9030. And there is a confusion on the clock speed: Standard: 1x 2.75 GHz – Big Taishan (pending to see number) - 2 threads each core 3x 2.27 GHz – Mid Taishan (pending to see number) - 2 threads each core 4x 1.72 GHz – Small Taishan (pending to see number) Cores: 8 Threads: 12 Pro: 1x 2.75 GHz – Big Taishan (pending to see number) - 2 threads each core 4x 2.27 GHz – Mid Taishan (pending to see number) - 2 threads each core 4x 1.72 GHz – Small Taishan (pending to see number) Cores: 9 Threads: 14

Serhii, I need to update. Geekerwan mentioned another difference between Kirin 9030 and 9030 Pro. GPU of 9030Pro: Maleoon 935 Speed: 933 MHz GPU Cores: 6 GPU of 9030: Maleoon 935A Speed: 933 MHz GPU Cores: 5 So yeah, time to add a new entry, just for Kirin 9030.
