If it wasn't for the iGPU, the Intel core Ultra 7 356H would win. In some cases, it still does win (non-gamers). Better multi-core CPU performance and better battery life (15 hours vs 10 real world hours). For those that want a little bit of everything for daily use and master of none, the Intel Ultra 7 258V CPU is nice at a lot of things. Good battery life, good single core CPU performance, a nice 4 TFLOPs of iGPU power.

The only advantage of 258v is iGPU score. All other real life tasks are better served by 356h...
