State of the art cpu from amd, great single core and multi core performance along with top of the class efficiency which I've never seen ever before atleast in the x86 mobile chips department..... Looking forward to Intel with its arrow lake mobile chips even though desktop chips resulted in huge disappointment, nevertheless meteor lake is also good but I don't really think nvidia mobile gpus laptop will come with it, 285h vs this will be the real deal

Just a note that the compact Zen 5c cores are fabbed on TSMC 3nm N3, while Zen 5 cores are on TSMC 4nm N4P. Zen 5c has 25% die area shrink vs Zen 5. So, they fit 8-Zen5c for the package size of what could've been 6-Zen 5 cores. No change in features between them, other than cache-size reduction for space saving, so very different to Intel's approach. I suspect if they didn't go with this approach, we'd be looking at AI 9 365 8-Zen 5 (8c/16t) and AI 9 370HX with 10-Zen 5 (10c/20t) if they planned to stick with the cache-size goal that Strix-Point has currently. Still, Strix-Point is over 30% larger than last gen total die-area, but 50% more cores is a win.

AMD Ryzen 9 AI 370 HX actually has 4 full Zen5 cores and 8 light cores ( Zen5c), almost similar to Intel p and e cores. So, maybe it should be listed as such ( 4 P cores with 8 threads and 8 E cores with 16 threads).

From what I understand, this analogy is inherently flawed. You can't really compare Intel E-cores and AMD C-cores.

AMD C core only has lower cache for space reduction, but in term of performance, zen 5 and zen 5c is very simillar. Very different with intel architecture, intel's e cores are much more slower than its P - core.
