Even though there are some good things going for the M4 10-Core CPU, the Ryzen Ai 9 HX 370 wins overall. Full access to X86 software, great with Linux distros OS, far better multi-core performance, and better iGPU for 3D rendering or gaming. On a mini-PC or laptop, with the Ryzen Ai 9 HX 370 you get the added bonus of higher end gen 4 SSD that can be replaced.

The Ryzen obliterates the M4. Don't just look at Applebench - oh, I meant Geekbench. In real-world tests, the Ryzen kills it.

Ya ya ya, Invalid comparison. Geekbench is the fairest benchmark to compare because it focuses on short burst multi-core performance, which doesn't require sustained cooling capabilities. The only reason Ryzen might outperform in real-world tests is due to its advantage of higher sustained wattage enabled by better cooling in a laptop. It's not the M4's fault that the iPad can't maintain 20W for long periods and has to throttle down to 10W.

Skeptyka, Geekbench is super memory and storage intensive, and the M4's unified memory and soldered storage are most likely making the results to favor the m4. The Ryzen's memory and storage bandwidth is probably slowing it down in generally snappiness. But overall in sustained workloads, the Ryzen does indeed beat m4. the 2 things I can agree on is the higher single core performance and better efficiency for m4, but everything else is better for Ryzen. better sustained performance(m4 doesn't even fully utilize the cooling in the new MacBook pros), better graphics, better multicore, but versatility. m4 is a great everyday processor for general single core tasks, but for anything power-intensive Ryzen works better.

Bro the M4 is ARMv9 vs AMD which is x86-64, you wont be playing games with arm and you wont have RTX GPU on that.
