why would you buy the more expensive 16gb if the performance of 8gb is almost the same. besides the rtx 5060 ti is sweet spot for 1080p. if you want 1440p you should get a 5070 or higher

Nope, I will make a difference if you play 2560 x 1440 (2K) or more... Or if the game requires a lot of VRAM.
