In my country (Turkey) they are opposite for pricing. Always Nvidia much expensive than amd cards. Which 5070 is the same. 5070 is in here 650-700 dollars. 9070 on the other hand you can buy at 605-650 dollars. (9070xt 700 or more) I just bought Sapphire pulse 9070. I hope it will be great...

At the time of writing, the cheapest I could find for each was $600 (9070) and 550$ (5070), I'm still unsure as to which to recommend, these are both good cards, and fairly priced. One has 16gb VRAM (9070) vs 12gb VRAM (5070), VRAM issues are blown out of proportion and currently it seems like 12gb VRAM would still last easily another 2 years, more if neural compression becomes more popular, 9070 is 10% faster, 5070 has DLSS 4 transformer which is very noticeably better than even the really good FSR4. I think these are neck and neck, go for whichever you want if they're within $50 of each other, both are good, better than last gens who were $50 away from each other but FSR was nearly unusable.

If the RX 9070 costs less than the RTX 5070, it would've been an easy decision. But, unfortunately, it's more expensive. And I don't think it's justified. I think I'll go with the RTX 5070, because even with lower VRAM, it's an overall better value.

With prices and raster performance being nearly the same, I would have to go with Nvidia RTX 5070. The DLSS4 steroids for gaming and Cuda cores for video editing give it the edge for me.

RX 9070 performs very well but today gaming is not just anymore raster, dlss4 transformer is the really big improvement of the current generation and unfortunately we have to admit that Radeon gpus are 2 generations behind Nvidia in RT performances But Nvidia looks like anti-consumer and persists in placing on the market products inadequates by amount of memory and price Hoping they fix it with a Super mid-gen

It depends on how AMD it will work to bring the technologies to as many games as possible, this is the path that has already been previously taken by nVidia and maybe the only way. Because it must be recognized that FSR4 is a huge step forward in terms of quality as well as performance. Not at the same level as dlss4, but objectively it surpasses the already excellent dlss 3
