Samsung trash, S26 Ultra has the same processor as the Android phones you mentioned. Even the processor in Samsung will get a longer update looking at other android phones. The battery is also weaker than 17PM but it is much stronger than 17PM in games that require high power. If you plan to play Pubg Mobile then 17PM is better. Because Pubg Mobile's Android optimization is weak so iPhone gives more stable fps. But in other games 17PM is weak

Samsung trash, Are you dumb or something? In which way did iPhone 17, 16 and Google Pixel cook Samsung? Google is just 3-4 years behind in processor. Don't wanna talk about iphone, just compare specs. Maybe Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi or Oneplus edge out due to battery and camera. No software beats One UI though. iphone has less functionality, and other brands have ads or bloatware.

Gabriel, That's the fault of Samsung, right? If they don't optimise games for their phones, it's a weak link on their part and you can't call it unfair since people can expect equal or i dare say better results in Gaming especially if the chips etc on S26U almost outperforms A19 Pro by 12%. But still we see iPhones pulling ahead even with the 12% lag. Gamers switch to iPhone for a reason bro...

In conclusion you said choose iPhone 17 pro max for software and Samsung S26 Ultra for display I disagree, software is a preference, ios is not all fancy to everyone, some folks prefer android to iOS example me so software is a preference but display is not really a preference but it's real upper spec In all in all the S26 Ultra is the better phone so I don't see the reason for your 95 and 96 score line for them Performance wise Display wise Software packed wise not total software Camera wise Built wise ... Performance wise, S26U I'm not surprised it's performance is bad, Snapdragon 8E Gen 5 is already a heating mess as we have seen in OnePlus 15 (it couldn't even run two 3D benchmarks because it hit thermal overload on that phone) and S26U is using the overclocked version of it, even if it performs better in short burst tasks like opening an app or something that runs for a second or so, it cant beat A19Pro in sustained performance because it needs to throttle down its performance just to maintain safety of the phone and temps. Software wise I agree, both are equally good and should have been given equal preference. Display wise, S26U is miles better.

Marcello, Yeah, and? Everyone knows that, his point being, Samsung will do it faster, S-Pen takes up the necessary space which was required for a better battery capacity of larger vapour chamber to cool the overclocked chip. Even 0.1GHz higher clock will result in exponential thermal heat generation. And rather than focusing on efficiency, Qualcomm and Samsung is just brute forcing their performance.

Many people compare specs which is ok but what matters is what you use your phone for.The debate we are having compares specs yet both works in different ways . If assigned the galaxy it would work to it's capable satisfaction if given the iphone it will also work . What matters is what do you use it for . I am a fan of both but for vedeos iphone for photography Samsung .. 🤔

Max, Connectivity is jot better, 17PM utilises Satellite level connectivity, Thread networking tech and has its own custom built UWB chip for tracking in GPS

Just see the specs and then talk. Samsung got more green than iphone. Nanoreview is clearly biased in the scoring system. iphone wins in like 5-6 ways. The rest is Samsung's territory. Also, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is way ahead of Apple A19 Pro.

Adiyan, It is indeed more powerful but not by a lot where the average person can notice . In terms of efficiency tho the a19 pro smokes every processor and let’s not talk about the 8 elite gen 5 problem where it doesn’t even have efficiency cores only performance which can cause heating and throttling if not optimized

Adiyan, They are comparing hardware that's why you see more green, hardware if not optimised correctly leads to worse quality. For eg, S26U scores nearly 12% more in Multicore and still can't run Genshin at 120fps while iPhone does that comfortably. It's about experience vs raw specs.

Samsung trash, But the iPhone still doesn't support the 320MHz channel width, while Samsung does since the S24U. So, it doesn't actually beat Samsung in connectivity.

Nice improvement on the CPU and Ultra-wide sensors for the S26 Ultra. Otherwise, the same phone as the S25 Ultra. I doubt anyone will change sides unless one side has an extremely bad operating system to motivate them to change. The core specs are good for both phones. iPhones are far better for night photography and slightly better for video quality. Samsung S26 Ultra has the better features and operating system.

I think it's not fair to compare os, because many people prefer ios because it's convenient for them, and also because of the performance. A19 Pro has better singlecore than snap, but snap better in multicore.

appleMain, What? How is comparing OS not fair? If a majority of people prefer iOS over One UI, then there's definitely a problem with the Samsung OS, and if the problem continues without any real solution, it will be a reason why people would change sides.

appleMain, Everyone will use the OS, it's not like a processor, where some people might not utilize its full processing power. If there's a problem with Samsung's OS and they doesn't fix it, everyone will hate the device operating in this OS and they will look for an alternative that offers a better experience.

Let Me Tell You Something June 3, 2026 at 11:12 PM
Adiyan, TLDR notice (be prepared): Not everyone is looking for a phone to tinker with. Heck, Samsung doesn't even allow you to tinker properly because of KNOX and efuse burn when unlocking the bootloader. With Samsung you get two layers of data harvesting. The Google layer and the Samsung layer. With Apple it's just Apple. Other than that, it just works without needing to tinker. Is it perfect? Not for everyone, but at least you're getting a better optimized app experience since Android is scattered over hundreds of different spec'd devices ranging from bad to good, but all with their own hardware. Apple's walled garden is much more strict and since they're pulling the ropes there's no wild west of hardware configurations, meaning apps work better out of the box.
