On the xiaomi website itself it is clearly written am13 aluminum alloy frame.. I think that the manufacturer is better able to know what it has done than simple speculations.. dk where you got the source from but the 14t launches at around 500+ us dollars and not 735.

You're wrong. The 14T's back is made of Glass Panda-X, while the frame is indeed plastic but reinforced with aluminum and fiberglass.

The 14T Pro is powerful, but whether that power will ever get harnessed is a story for another day. So here's my advice: * If you're on a budget, get the 14T. It provides largely the same user experience, with a slightly weaker SoC and camera system. * If you can afford it, get the Pro. The performance boost is well worth it, but the USB 2.0 speeds are an eyesore.
