Yes Qualcomm needs to stop artificial segmentation of AV1. 7+Gen 3 and 8s Gen 3 both are based on same die and 7+ Gen 3 has the required hardware too. But only 8s Gen 3 has AV1 support , 7 Plus Gen 3 doesn't.

Please correct the shaders unit and shaders number. Just like 8sG3, this SoC also uses a GPU with 384 SU and 768 Total Shaders.

7 Plus Gen 3 is a total disappointment. I expected it to be (almost) equal to 8 Gen 2. Sad to say, 7 Plus Gen 3 cannot even beat 7 Plus Gen 2 or 8 Plus Gen 1; the Cortex X4, Cortex-A720 doesn't make much of a difference.

AKAASH, What's this guy smoking? This is a premium chipset. The CPU is on par with the 8s gen 3, and 8 gen 2. 8g2 has the best GPU of the bunch , s best AI, and the 7+g3 is well balanced.
I still prefer the 8 gen 2 over the others though.

The 7+2 still performs slightly better than the 7+ Gen 3. Therefore, I assume a lot of buyers consider it to be the best mid-range chipset. However, in my opinion, the 7+ Gen 2 is still the best.

The performance is nearly on par with the SD 8S Gen 3, although it's slightly weaker due to the lower frequency of its CPU and GPU. However, they aren't significantly different. On the other hand, the SD 7+ Gen 3 demonstrates superior GPU performance in some shader-intensive applications, thanks to its greater number of shading units and shaders. The SD 8S Gen 3 has a longer half-life and experiences less of a performance drop, both in terms of intensity and duration.

I have seen numerous rumors suggesting that 7+Gen3 will adopt the CPU architecture of 8Gen3. But would Geekbench and AnTuTu scores matter for an Android chipset if we don't even notice its power? For myself, they do matter since I desire a phone with an AnTuTu score of a million (Geekbench scores hold no relevance to me) and priced around a very affordable $320.
