In the tier of Snapdragon 888... yet the 6 series can't even catch Snapdragon 855.
MTK on the other side is already on tier of the 865 on their 7XXX series

They haven't even gotten past 845, as a matter of fact id argue the 845, the best of the 6xx series can't match it atleast GPU wise.
And the 4xx series I genuinely don't know why they still exist

Benson, Indeed, to be real... the 4s Gen 2 should be renamed into 2 Gen 1series.
The 6 Gen 3 should be 4 Gen 3
The 7 Gen 3 should be 6 Gen 3
And this one should be the real 7 Gen 3.

From the specs, yes.
But I personally think that the Dimensity 8200 is a far better choice. I just wish MediaTek would use the same GPU but upgrade the cores to A715 on the 8200. That'd make it a beast.

Zero, GPU is slightly better on 7s Gen 3. Really good chip; hoping to see it on Edge 70 Neo.
