How bad it can be when the predecessor is just the same, if not better?!

wdym worse, its literally better, just because it has more gflops doesnt mean it performance better in real world apps

Everyone gives MediaTek shit when they rebrand something minor, but this is straight up a downgrade. This release is beyond abysmal, lmao. I rather have a 17.3% OC GPU than 8% OC on 1 of 4 performance cores (~2% total. Just look at Geekbench). This release is a good example why MediaTek dominate in price to performance in the mid-range department - and forced Qualcomm to start trying after the Dimensity 8000 series released. Where's all the Qualcomm fanboys now? Busy glazing QC on Reddit?

the market is saturated with 7s Gen 3 socs and it's much cheaper than the gen 4 *models like iQOO z10 so might as well get the gen 3 or go for 7 gen 4 or higher

The 7s gen 4 is exactly the same to the 7s gen 3 it's just a little bit overclocked

In short, the fourth-generation 7s is a small update to the third-generation 7s.
