Amd starting to get to comfortable you think they would be more careful to not make the mistake intel did 6-7 years ago

AMD could at least make an improvement and include more L3 memory. You buy the latest Ryzen 9 CPU and it still only has 16MB L3 memory. Good job, AMD, keep it up.

Looks like the only big difference is the NPU for dedicated AI processing. The 7000 does not have that. And this site didn't apply that in the benchmarks as everything else looks the same. Probably no other differences till the hit 9000 or higher.

The battery life got better for the Ryzen 8000s series CPUs and some AI improvements, but not impressive enough to overlook the Ryzen 7000s series. Also, the iGPU is the same as the 7000s series. At least it is a good time to find Ryzen 7000s series CPUs at a discount. Including laptops with the Ryzen 7000s CPUs. Example: HP EliteBook 845 G10 or Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4.
