Intel wins for photo editing by a long shot, but AMD wins for power efficiency & iGPU performance. Be careful in taking note of what you plan on using the CPU primarily for.

I don't see how Intel could win if it has zero Cuda cores, what a shame. I'd buy the ryzen any day

I am planning to buy a gaming laptop. One of them is equipped with an RTX 4050 and runs on an Intel processor. While the other one is equipped with an RTX 4060, running on an AMD processor. Although the RTX 4050 laptop is $400 cheaper, my primary concern is efficiency.

Enxigma43, Since you mentioned $400 more expensive for more efficient power, you are looking for an ASUS - ROG Zephyrus G14 or Lenovo R700P (2024) models. If you don't mind replaceable memory, you can wait for the Asus TUF A15 FA507U (2024) model as well.
