Both of these processors are excellent. For a mobile setting M2 is the clear winner and for a desktop setting the 7800x3d is the clear winner. However for the price coupled with a dedicated GPU any mid range Intel, AMD, or Nvidia card the winner clearly goes to AMD with its large 96mb L3 cache. Another clear advantage is the fact 7800x3d can be upgraded with better hardware. The M2 memory cannot be upgraded nor fixed. Also this processor uses alot less energy compared to Intel. I do like how the M2 Pro has 32mb of L2 cache.
