The Lenovo Slim 7x and HP Omnibook are about $200 more than the MacBook Air M3, with much better specs and 20% plus more performance. Considering the M3 is a sunset chip with N3B, hopefully the next M4 MacBook Air brings better specs. The M4 might also be closer to the X1E84.
