Maybe M7 Max will be able to outperform 5090 laptop. Apple is 3 years behind. But M4 Max is still impressive considering it's a SoC (integrated gpu) not like 5090 which is dedicated gpu.

Yeah kinda just in rendering 3d Ai and gaming is for what is used the RTX the M5 ultra is gonna at the level of RTX 5090 but for the rest a M4 Ultra can beat it in editing and progamming pulling 4 times less power, so if you have both both system a macbook is better

if it's at gaming even m4 max doesn't beat a 5070 laptop, m7 max will probably barely beat 5080 laptop.
