575 watts!? I'd rather stick with my 10 watts Integrated Graphics than buying a power plant and an RGB Heater

That will definitely not be the case. And I hate the minimum character limit. lol I know this is manually reviewed. Why can't I just say 'no'?

Performance boost is great. Just not as great as the previous generations. Fuck AI.

Apart from AI, I see no reason to upgrade to an RTX-50 series card from an RTX-40 GPU.

There are new encoders on it for creators that were previously only on Intel GPUs. Also more VRAM. But for gaming not very much.

I can't believe the 5090 consumes 575 Watts, you need a beefy power supply just to run this GPU

RTX 5090 is not at all a good value. RTX 4090 already ran all games at ground shattering FPS with it's DLSS 3. RTX 5090 has that 575W TDP that will require you to have a monster of a colling system. Also, 5090 is so overkill that it will get bottlenecked by almost every CPU (Other than Threadripper Pro 7995WX). The MSRP of 2000 USD is just a show. Other board partners are pricing no less than 2500 USD per card, which will increase more over time because of the lack of GPU's. The cost of cooling solution and a new CPU also adds up to over 4000 USD atleast. It is better yo buy RTX 4090 Than even RTX 5080. They both have literally the same price right now.

5090 uses 575 watts of TDP!!! Insanely high and roughly 28% more than the 4090. The cooling costs will increase massively. I'd rather cheat the game with Nvidia RTX 5070 by using DLSS 4 . Thus, save money upfront on cooling and the electric bill. Especially those living in Europe with their energy crisis.
