Was able to get the Legion 7 with a 3070 for less than a Legion 5 Pro during black Friday. The aesthetics of the 7 are much nicer and it really tones down the gAmEr design(besides RBG). I also think the all-aluminum chassis is a major upgrade.

For me, the choice is between a Legion 7 with RTX 3080 or a Legion 5 Pro with RTX 3070. All other specs are the same, 5800H, 16 GB RAM, and same SSD. The Legion 7 is 30% more expensive and is a model that has been on display in the store. I almost went with the 7, because I like the design much more. But I can't justify the MAJOR price difference, for the small performance gain. Maybe if it had 32 GB RAM and 5900HX for the same price. Just my thoughts.
