OPPO Reno11 Pro is using Dimensity 8200 while Reno12 Pro is using Dimensity 7300. They have similar camera specs and everything but Reno12 Pro is quite a bit downgrade in terms of performance. I'm not sure why OPPO didn't bring Reno12 Pro with Dimensity 9300 instead? Global version of OPPO always getting a downgrade version of the same devices. I'm OK if OPPO releases Reno12 Pro with Dimensity 9300 at slightly higher price (around MYR 3499 or about USD 742). I'm quite disappointing to expect they will bump up the performance but instead Dimensity 7300 from 8200 (OPPO Reno11 Pro release around early this hear).

Yeah... I'm very disappointed. Like, what's the point of using a weaker chip on a newer model? I guess that's the market strategy they are using to keep customers buying older models. In that way, older models of their products don't go to waste. Same strategy with chips or processors; they just recycle and give it a new name.
