See I will say i have Used Both Phones With Both MTD 7300 and Snapdragon 7 gen 1 I will Rather Say Snapdragon Is better in gaming (little bit heating issues) and MediaTek 7300 is better for regular task in my opinion I will choose 7gen1 for performance and 7300 for day to day task Choice is Yours!

This is not true! I play verry heavy games with 7300 and it is a really great performer I must say! I played Genshin impact over like an 30 mins to the highest quality, with 35-45fps stable! When I changed the settings to the high it performed even well and to the medium it was at 55fps! Also it is overheating yes it is logical but in other not that much demanding games it is not, it's nothing for this processor. But also not that much it is verry effective! There are no noticeable drops even after prolonged gaming.

Both are comparable. Similar graphics score as well. Choose whicever you want but I would stay away from 7 gen 1 since it is not TSMC chip and a samsung chip.
