7S GEN3 is totally the same product as 6 GEN4. Same wafer, same technical node, same cost, performance should be the same; however, 6 GEN4 is an underclocked version. Thus, 6 GEN4 can sell a little bit lower than 7S GEN3. Meanwhile, 6 GEN4 can compete with MediaTek 26M.

Why does PUBG only get 60fps on iqoo z10, and realme 14 5g/P3 get 90fps?

I always buy the underclock processor like the 8100 instead of 8200 for better efficiency, stable performance and you cant tell the difference in performance

How does the 6 Gen 4 have a slower GPU, yet better geekbench gpu score than the 7s Gen 3? Shows only better for photo processing, which I also don't understand at a slower clock rate.

Basically, it depends on the smartphone. Don't take the numbers at face value. These chips perform different per smartphone. So they'll have different results and synthetic benchmark numbers. 7s Gen 3 is objectively the better chip but you'll get these margin of error results sometimes. You'll probably not notice the difference when you compare the same tier chips or ones that are really close in performance in real life, anyway. You'll notice when comparing different tier chips where it'll actually show considerable amount of difference.

I don't think they they are any different apart from clock speeds. It's alright because SOC contain millions of microprocessors some go bad resulting in lower yields so companies just turn off bad ones and some good ones lower the clock speed and relaunch as lower tier chip . Example 6 gen 4 and 7s gen 2

So the Snapdragon 6th gens are just underclocked rebranding of the 7th gen. Okay QualcommπŸ˜‘

Typically the 7s are basically a Snapdragon 6 7s Gen 2 = 6 Gen 1 7s Gen 3 = 6 Gen 4

So, they relaunched the 7s Gen 3 and underclocked the CPU and GPU... Great.
