Joe, It is not 8 channel memory. Thank you for your comment.

Serhii, Still not fixed, even though the die shot clearly shows 8 channels.....

Joe, It is 8 controllers, according to Wiki. M4 Pro have 8 channels and 16 controllers, but M4 Max got even more channels and controllers.

Joe, Sorry if i mistaken but can you quote the Wikipedia page that says how many channels are on M4?

Joe, So M5 Max have 32 channels? Can't be real. Second link support my words that it not channels but controllers.

Serhii, Yes both M4 max and M5 max have 32x16 bit memory channels. Memory Controllers can't be more than the physical channels themselves, if there are 32 memory controllers, that means there are at least 32 memory channels. Apple advertised 614GB/s memory bandwidth for M5 Max, given that we know that the memory is LPDDR5X-9600, therefore the effective memory bus is 512 bit, that also confirms the 32 memory channels (32x 16bit).

I wonder why Dimensity 9300+, which has a score of around 930,000+ in GPU in Antutu, has supposedly performed worse than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's GPU with a score of around 890,000+ in Antutu. I think Dimensity 9300+ has a total score of 2,300,000+ in Antutu 10 while Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has a total score of around 2,100,000+, which is a difference of around 200,000 points. Therefore, Dimensity 9300+ should be performing better than Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but it's the other way round. I really wish to see what Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 have to offer. I hope Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be like 2 x Oryon core at 3.85 GHz + 3 x Cortex X925 at 3.35 GHz + 3 x Cortex A520 (2024) plus Adreno 830 GPU. Dimensity 9400, on the other hand, will be like 2 x Cortex X925 at 3.75 GHz + 2 x Cortex X925/X4 at 3.15 GHz + 4 x Cortex A725 at 2.35 GHz plus Mali Immortalis G925 MP16. I wonder which one will be faster and more powerful; I think Dimensity 9400 will be a little faster and more powerful, as early leaked Geekbench and Antutu scores of the two SoCs showed. I think Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 scores around 3,100,000 in Antutu while Dimensity 9400 scores around 3,400,000 in Antutu. Likewise, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has a single core score of 2800+ and a multi-core score of 9500+ while Dimensity 9400 has a single-core score of around 2750+ and a multi-core score of 10,000+. However, it's not final at all, and I think we'll know it when October this year comes. I wish and pray to God to spare my life so that I could see the launch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400 processors.

Please update the total score of this chipset, its wrong. If you sum up these scores: 723,817 + 1,120,143 + 470,720 + 430,720 = 2,745,400, then the total is 2,745,400. I am doing a review on this chipset and was stuck at these benchmarks for the past hour. I was calculating these scores, and the results were wrong. Then I saw these scores. Please update the scores daily so that no one wastes time doing calculations. 723,817 +1,120,143 +470,720 +430,720 2,745,400

If Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Antutu v10 is accurate, then this Apple M4 will still lose to it by like 300,000 points.

Apple devices' Antutu can't be compared to Android chips like Snapdragon. You can compare them based on Geekbench and 3DMark.

Ali, And yes, but doesn't AnTuTu measure everything? GB and 3DMark only measure CPU and GPU performance.

Daine Ramos Quitco, Even if they do, you can't compare Metal to Vulkan API, ANTUTU devs themselves admit that iOS scores and Android scores aren't comparable.

Also, according to GB 6, SD 8E G5 still is on the levels between M2 and M3 chip. M4 and M5 are still beasts, you really thought Snapdragon mobile cpus are gonna beat M4 judging on ANTUTU scores? Hah waht a clown lol🀑🀑πŸ₯€
