Well M1 in overall productivity is still more powerful than 8 elite. You can't compare android Antutu with iOs antutu. It's completely misleading. Don't believe me go look at youtube

Coughing baby Vs atomic bomb. Why is everyone voting the 8 Elite? It stands no chance against the M4. 8 Elite does not draw 8.2W. It draws 18W on CPU alone.

You mistook TDP underload for idle TDP. Apple M4 consumes 30-40 watts underload.

Even if the M4 beats the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the issue is all software. Full disclosure, I'm generally not an Apple fan, but I give credit where due: it is genuinely impressive what they've been doing with their SoCs. The problem is that while it makes a ton of sense in a MacBook, and that's an awesome application for it, they're also put in the iPad of all things. You have all this raw power... great, what are you really going to use it for in iOS or iPadOS? Play Candy Crush at 8% CPU utilization with an M4, instead of 20% CPU with an M1? This is also true with Android to a significant extent because the hardware is reaching face-melting speeds and companies in both camps love their locked bootloaders and arbitrary restrictions more than ever, but at least in Android's case we have SOME extra features like Samsung DeX, sideloaded apps, and multi-window support that could use some of the extra horsepower. That also ignores if you don't have a locked bootloader and just want to root the thing, in which case you can really go nuts and pin it at 100% doing something useful. We're honestly to the point with folding displays, mobile device storage density, and this kind of brutal power that it makes me angry there isn't a foldable phone with a full desktop OS mode/dual-boot for either a Unix based OS or Windows on ARM. If Apple ever allowed natively running desktop class software on their iPads (or even if they didn't, but you could get it to work anyway), I'd actually consider getting one. Mobile devices are seriously the best and worst they've ever been.

-m-, Ever heard of emulation? It is way, way, I mean way better in an Android. We can practically play GTA V, COD Black ops 6, and all those kind sod demanding game, with just a snap of our fingers(well, not really because, emulation configuration can take a lot of time, but in the end, it will be worth it. Trust me).

It would be disappointing if the Snapdragon X Elite Gen 2 loses to the Apple M4 Max, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4's CPU score is almost on par with the Apple M4 which has 2 more cores and a higher clock speed and its GPU is even better than the M4's. So, the Snapdragon X Plus Gen 2 should be equivalent to the Apple M4 Pro and the Snapdragon X Elite Gen 2 should be equivalent to the Apple M4 Max!

Samsung phones with the over locked versions usually still run slower than other phones with the standard version. This is due to a variety of factors but specificity the S-pen taking up more space that could've instead been used for cooling

8Gen4 is crazy. A mobile CPU with those numbers, man. Also, the power consumption is insane. Imagine 2 extra cores and a little increase in the power it consumes - they should do this for tabs and 2-in-1 laptops. And it's already beating M4, a laptop chip, in both numbers and efficiency. M4 performance on a smartphone. Mind blown.

Imagine being the GPU of your big laptop chip, beaten by a small mobile chip. Apple should feel ashamed. Coming to the CPU: although this laptop chip beats the 8 gen 4 here, it is again a win for Snapdragon. Because the peak power consumption of M4 in tests is 30W, double compared to the rumored peak consumption of 8 gen 4 at 15W. (PS: Sustained consumption of M4 is around 20W, and for mobile chips like Snapdragon 8 gen 4 it is around 6W, so again, there's no comparison.)
