The 7900X3D should have been designed with 8 V-Cache cores + 4(or 6) normal cores. This is because 3D V-Cache design is focused on gaming.

I think I will go with the 7950X3D. Mainly to have 2 more V-Cache cores. 6+6 design will limit 6 cores per CCD. Possibly making the 7800X3D Perform better in some instances.

7950 and 7900 only have 8 cores that use the v cache exclusive the remaining cores don't utilize them and will be asleep unless used for productivity purposes while gaming.
