I don't wanna burst your bubble, but these gpu's were made for completely different markets. The RX 7900 XTX gpu is made specifically for gaming while the M4 Max is more for professional multi-use purposes, while also providing adequate gaming performance. And this doesn't count the completely different form factors too.

M4 Max who? Destroyed by AMD when looking at the most powerful AMD consumer GPU. The only saving grace for Apple is the dynamic cache, which helps drastically for the GPU to run more efficiently and less hot.
