I chose the Zephyrus simply because it has a G-Sync compatible screen while the Legion 14.5 isn't. As far as I know, the Zephyrus G line is the first OLED laptop to have G-Sync which makes it superior in terms of display.

I would choose the Legion Slim 5 because: 1. I dislike the white keyboard/body of a computer with backlighting... dark colors look better. 2. I like the 2 SSD slots for more flexibility 3. I like the regular size SD card slot as compared to the mirco card slot. 4. I prefer the white backlight instead of RGB so it doesnt look gamery. 5. I prefer the larger 14.5 screen to the 14 screen for more screen real estate. 6. I think the I/O is better on the legion. 7. I like that most of the I/O on the legion is on the back, where cords are out of the way. They both look very similar on paper, but these things I prefer over some of the minor things that the Asus might be slightly better on. Just for info purposes, I am not a hardcore gamer, and only game some for relaxation when time permits, so gaming is not a prime factor for me, as long as the machine can do what I need it to, I am fine with it.

1. There is a black version 2. Yeah but we can have any size in one slot 3. yeah but sd card is not used by gamers or regaular users 4. an RGB backlight can be set to white only 5. Not that much of a difference really 6. identical ports selection, better how ? 7. Yeah Thats nice ! but its comes with the cost of a bigger chassis
