How come the M2 MBA can run popular games at 43-59% higher FPS while also having a noticeably worse score than the SP9 in gaming performance? If your excuse is because it is "3D", then let me tell you that 3D stuff requires GPU performance and Apple has a way better GPU than Microsoft. Even you guys proved it. So, why does SP9 have a 65 score in overall performance and 39 in gaming performance while Apple only has a 63 in overall performance with 25 in gaming performance when Apple is noticeably better than Microsoft across the board? I don't understand what Apple needs to do in order to satisfy you guys when even the brand-new M2 chip with better cores can't even win. LET ME TELL YOU THIS: APPLE IS BETTER THAN MICROSOFT. I DON'T CARE IF YOU HATE APPLE, BUT YOU HAVE TO HEAR THIS. THANK YOU!

M2 MacBook Air is better than Surface Pro 9. And for reference, the Surface Pro 9 isn’t even a laptop. It’s a tablet computer just like the M2 iPad Pro. Anyways, here are the performance test results and you tell me which one is better. SSD speed test (read): the surface pro 9 got 1,766 points while the M2 MacBook Air got 2,690 points. SSD speed test (write): the surface pro 9 got 651 points while M2 MBA got 2,459 points Speedometer web browsing test: SP9: 103 runs per second vs 427 runs per second on M2 MBA. 3DMark wildlife extreme test: SP9: 2,949 points at 17.66 FPS vs 6,893 points at 41.3 FPS on M2 MBA. I’m sorry, but M2 MBA is better, fight me. Source: As for the M2 MacBook Air results, I ran them myself since I own an M2 MBA. Once again, fight me. You can even sue me at the court if you want.

Unless you have a strong Apple ecosystem setup or are in school for digital arts, the Surface Pro 9 is the better laptop. Less expensive for 512GB of SSD, lighter, nearly as good CPU, you can game AAA games through the browser with X-Box, and access to Windows advanced features for Excel & Word. The only weaker aspect is the battery life. SP9 is far better than previous versions, but still not on the same level as the modern MacBook Air line.
