Poco is better for those seeking good performance

The poco is meant for gaming and it have good benchmark scores. But when playing high graphic games there is no optimization. And also the thermals are terrible. There is no stability so, when buying I suggest you also buy a cooler. Do note that benchmark doesn't tell everything.

However, if your primary concern is gaming and you're willing to sacrifice build quality and camera capabilities, then Poco would be the more fitting option.

I still can't believe the fact that the performance of both phones varies by a really wide margin - 110% to be specific! However, I honestly think this might be a mistake.

It's not a mistake. They're just targeted for different users. Poco X6 Pro is more performance-centric, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is for more everyday use that might be sturdy.
