BUT depends on which OS you prefer...Both phones have insane performance whether in gaming or editing.

I think, both these chipsets are good, ngl. Tho there is one point I want to point out. 1. GB 6 GPU Compute score is'nt directly comparable cause iOS uses MetalFX for gpu acceleration while android uses OpenCL and Vulkan. 2. Antutu again is not comparable cause it was made for Android's benchmarking and its still not cross platform comparable. 3. This is for Dimensity 9500, the instruction architecture is better, ARM V 9.3 vs ARM V 9.2. 4. L1 and L2 cache of A19 Pro is significantly bigger than Dimensity 9500, making it easy for CPU to access memory pool, making CPU run much lighter than what would have happened if L1 and L2 caches were lower in numbers. 5. Memory of Dimensity 9500 is significantly better than A19 Pro making it easy for MTK 9500, to do multitasking without breaking a sweat and keeping apps in background without bothering much, but iOS's ram management is also efficient enough to keep up with it, tho multitasking is still a far fetched dream on iOS. 6. Codecs support is better on A19 Pro, like VP8, Motion JPEG codecs can't run on devices using MTK 9500, also in audio AAX, AAX+, E-AAC,etc are some god damn pleasing to ear codecs which can't run on MTK 9500.

6. VP8 codec is obsolete. Motion Jpeg and rest audio codecs can work with SW configuration without breaking sweat. For now only av1 hw encoding matters for hq media compression and for Android and rest os flac for hq audio.

Everyone’s hyping up the Dimensity, but let’s see which device actually holds performance under load. Peak scores don’t mean much if the chip heats up and throttles. Apple’s chips have long won in performance per watt, which is why they stay faster for longer, even if the peak numbers look lower.

100%. These numbers are so meaningless and ridiculous. It’s becoming funny. And I think it’s stupid how this website compares antutu score and then right below it. It says they’re not directly comparable.. Honestly, what games on android even use that kind of GPU power they don’t even have AAA games like iPhone does. lol. The best looking game they have is genshin. But yes, you’re correct. All of this power is meaningless. If you can’t play a game for more than 10 minutes at a good frame rate. A19 pro is the overall better chip this website needs to recheck how they compare chips.

Xiaomi user, I’m talking about sustained performance and efficiency, not what games exist on a platform. Listing titles doesn’t address thermal throttling or performance per watt. If a chip can hit high FPS briefly but drops under load, that matters a lot. Apple’s focus has consistently been maintaining performance over time, not chasing peak numbers. That’s the point being made here.

BobMcBurger, sorry, that is not exactly real world demand needs. if you want to play a game that demands high performance chips , that is exactly where peak performance comes in. you have to squeeze every pound of performance of that chip just to play the game. that is exactly where apple lost and qualcomm and mediatek stomps.

Xiaomi user, Let’s be real for a second. Android SoCs have insane power? Sure. No one’s denying that. The benchmarks clearly show it. So yeah, you’ve got 3.5 - 4M+ AnTuTu scores… just to play the same games like Genshin, honkai and WuWa with pc resolution with the most highest graphics you seen in your life and all of that games that even a $100 phone can run. Only difference? Higher settings, frame rates and a smoother experience. Not a different game library. And if we’re bringing up ports like GRID Legends like you mention, let’s be honest — that’s not a modern AAA game pushing current hardware or need a ray tracing. It’s an older game scaled down to fit the entry - midrange Android ecosystem. And 165 FPS on Fortnite? That’s like bragging a GTX 970 can run Counter-Strike at 360 FPS on PC as long as your monitor support it. Cool numbers… but it doesn’t really prove anything. This isn’t about Android being weaker than Apple — don’t twist it. The real issue is: there’s no high-end gaming target on Android right now that actually forces the hardware to go all out. Until there’s an android game that truly needs that level of power… it’s just a marketing for future potential. Nothing more. So at least, just enjoy whatever android brand that you use right now with peacefully and stop the stupid argue with apple user.

While everyone arguing about the arrangement, I believe it’s actually correct because the power isn’t determined solely by the number, after using 9400+ and 8 elite (overclocked) CPUs, to be honest. It doesn’t feel as “smooth” as even the A17 Pro, but they still perform exceptionally well on the board. The number itself is not the most important factor. You could double or triple the number, but the user experience cannot be changed.

Peak speed isn’t everything. What matters more is performance per watt, which decides how efficiently a chip can hold its top speeds without overheating or throttling. Apple’s A19 Pro might not always post the highest numbers, but it delivers that performance using less power, meaning it runs cooler and sustains it for longer. That’s why in real-world use, it often feels faster and more consistent, even against chips that look stronger on paper. That is likely way it’s favored over the Dimensity.

root, Look at Antutu, the site shows it as an advantage in initial summary of comparision. Then in detailed performance comparision, check the Antutu box, and read the last line of the box. It literally states "AnTuTu results from iOS and Android are not directly comparable! They won't affect NanoReview scores." Then look at the Geekbench scores of SD 8E G5, it has still not updates on real world performance, ie, 10.1K multicore while this site shows 12K multicore (which was speculated back in hawaii event of Qualcomm), when you compare it in SoC section of this site. But when you compare mobile devices using SD 8E G5, multicore shows 10.1K

Well... I'm one of Mediatek phone users since 2014 and they keep improving overtime. I started with MTK6580 which is a lot of people criticized about phone lags and everything First improvement is starting Helio series where they started mid range section. Then, followed by Dimensity series which targets all range: from entry level 5G to most premium ones. My current ones is using Dimensity 9200+ on my Vivo V40 Pro. Performance is surprising good compared to 10 years ago.

CHARAN7128, Probably not. It's how they use the cores that matters. More cores do not mean anything if they're arranged badly. And with increased cores, there'll be increased power consumption. So compared to others who already have the know-how of the setups of Octa-core design, Apple might lag behind. And with Apple having smaller batteries, it's going to be a challenge for them to last for too long. It won't make much of a difference if they add 2 more cores. The results will be the same.

ugh, Very true. Antutu is a benchmark that is not cross-platform compatible; it was only meant for Android testing, not iOS. Even Antutu developers say that iOS's Antutu scores are not comparable to Android's. For now, the only reliable source for benchmarking iOS and Android is Geekbench. In that, A19 Pro outshines MTK 9500 by 13%, while in multicore, A19 Pro lags behind by 2%.
