Is there any problem with cache compared to elite?

the gpu though is 1.5M that's crazy! this can literally run a GTA5 at 1080p at 60 fps in Bionic CMOD emulator.
or much better Rockstar will release GTA 5 for android to make it optimized lmao.

it will not run it though, only snapdragon soc do run pc games
MR.1, If they release Android port, it can smash the asss of 8 elite Gen5 fr π don't under estimate the power of Mali Ultra GPU sybau

One, This is just plain wrong, The snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 will still wipe the floor, and dx12 games are impossible to play. However the situation is getting better, and may soon be able to pose some competition.

Cpu score hits 1M is absolute crazy! Phones with this processor must now come with built in cooling fans like PC bcs the heat is no exceptional.

anonymousSeptember 23, 2025 at 02:59 PM
this has efficiency cores, so no need for any fans, snapdragon 8 elite and 8 elite gen 5 on the other hand, do not have any efficiency cores, only high performance and big cores.

anonymous, you're right.. speaking about hours of heavy gaming like for ex. ONCE HUMAN max graphics.
*that game had heating issues tho.

You don't know how it works. It needs to fans. Higher score doesn't mean it runs hotter. Well, it does, if efficiency was same as last time. But if you have a 30% improvement in efficiency, and a 30% improvement in performance, that means it will produce the same amount of heat, and use the same amount of power as last time. Do not use benchmark scores to determine heat output. Use power usage. In watts.
Thatβs v11 and they were in a lap they even said it

Hello nanorewiew, please correct the information in the technical sheet, as the TudoCelular do Brasil website has just released the technical sheet for the Dimensity 9500.
Wish this chipset will be in Android Tablets or even Laptops, cause it's actually more than good enough for it, especially Android Tabletsβ¦
By the way, Dimensity 9500's cores are part of ARMv9.4-A instruction set. And, NPU is NPU 990, not 9.0 if MediaTek is being consistent with the naming here.

Google has already announced the merger between Android and Chrome OS. The new unified OS could pave the road for Android laptops. The Dimensity 9500 could be a great laptop SOC and could even compete with Apple as they are preparing for a budget oriented laptop with the A18 pro.
skibditolietrizzler , That's actually true. I hope it happens.

fuuk1, They just renamed the Dimensity 9400 to Kompanio Ultra 910 and put it in a Chromebook, so the Kompanio Ultra 920 using the Dimensity 9500 will probably arrive 6-10 months after the launch of it's mobile chip counterpart, so early to mid 2026
Geekachad, Well, you're right. The leaks back then were that D9500 uses cores which were called Cortex-X930 and Cortex-A730 in a 2+6 configuration and they're part of ARMv9.4-A. The leaks were wrong and I was wrong.
