First of all, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple A19 Pro chips are premium high performance. But as to which one is superior will never be clear cut since the 8 Elite Gen 5 runs Android and not iOS and the A19 Pro runs iOS and not Android. So your preference of Android or iOS is what determines which Chip to choose.

Guys the comparison clearly shows that the chips have their strengths and their weaknesses. both are absolutly great. why are you even arguing and why are you defending a closed ecosystem with optimization? do you guys even understand how optimization works, how a app submission works? i doubt it. so stop yapping.

Hmm, I use a Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G. It IS GOOD, and IT WILL STAY GOOD, but thermal throttling and all of that is stopping me from keeping it. I considered getting an S26 Ultra or an iphone 17 pro max. I am kinda conflicted b/w these two because one has a stronger gpu for games but lower resale value in my country and the other has the opposite of the first one(the other is the iphone). it is just that, I always had samsungs. i dont want to go to iphones. I am not saying i dislike them because i use an apple watch ultra 3 and that thing is a beast when it comes to durability. maybe i will probably go for the samsung because i like to doodle around with sound assistant, get modified versions of apps i use.

Apple watch is pretty accurate and also use a watch ultra 3. One of the best smartwatch on the market. Phones on the other hand I have the iPhone 17 pro max may trade in to upgrade to the 18 pro max but I also have the S26 ultra. I prefer Samsung overall it just gets everything right for me. Samsung edges it out in performance. Especially for pc emulation when I'm traveling. Iphone doesn't get as good frame rate or can't even run certain games yet cause IOS is behind on emulation.

I just don't bet it all on how super duper high in raw performance, both the latest flagship chipsets are, nowadays, since i still need to check both specific brand-relevant OS(Android & iOS) optimizations on these chipsets first, plus AI advanced integrations on either OS' environment. These 3 main components, the chipset, OS & AI will still need to work together to make any devices set their own standards in terms of raw performance, be it limited, restricted or somehow tolerable in delivering more raw performance to your own device. But all i know for sure is the fact that, all chipsets nowadays somehow still do perform really smooth & well always as long as both the chipset & battery remains consistently cool(~37°C or below) even during extreme long sessions of heavy gaming or even RAM-hungry multi-tasking, so there's really no worries for me 'cause i always got a device cooler to either my phone or tablet anyways.

In my personal opinion, the gaming performance score should be the same. Yes, the snapdragon 8 elite gen5 has a slightly better GPU but the a19 pro has a slightly better single core performance which if you didn’t know, is important for gaming.

Yo, AnTuTu worshipers. No offense, but can we end this mythical war? Comparing the A19 Pro to Snapdragon or Dimensity is just a waste of time. It’s like comparing a tuned-up Civic built for drag races (Android) that's obsessed with screaming 'look at my numbers!' to a Rolls-Royce (iOS) that just delivers peak performance without breaking a sweat. What I mean is, every SoC is literally built for a different purpose. Apple’s chips are for their own ecosystem, and the others are for the Android ecosystem. The choice is yours, so there's no real need for these comparisons. But if you truly want a cross-platform reality check, look at Geekbench. It’s a literal fact that Apple’s single-core and GPU compute are still gatekeeping the top spot. Period. The gap is even wilder in gaming. We’ve got 'old' chips like the A17 Pro running native AAA console ports like Resident Evil with full hardware ray tracing. Meanwhile, Android is still flexing 4M+ scores just to run Genshin or WuWa? 💀 Even a mid-range phone from 2025 can run those smoothly. What’s the point of chasing these scores if the Play Store literally has zero games that actually need that power? Is it just for the show of having a bigger number? Honestly, an AnTuTu score around 1.3M - 1.6M is already overkill these days. At the end of the day, benchmark scores are just ego boosters just a way to prove you’re 'smart' or have a 'great eye' for purchases. But they don’t define the actual vibes of using the phone. Stop glazing the numbers and actually use your device. Unless your only hobby is staring at progress bars and playing with 3DMark all day. Just saying.

Our brains are shrinking. iOS is a closed environment. They literally made their chips to run on it. Android has OpenGL/Vulkan, WHICH OPTIMIZE FOR HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of SoC's. OF COURSE THE A19 HITS BETTER COMPUTE SCORES!

Ayoub, It's not just Apple's its every platform compatible, AnTuTu on the other hand was made just for Android's, Apple will always prefer Geekbench because it's made ofc every kind of hardware out there, you can compare Intel to Snapdragon and Amd to M-series chips, and GB 6 will give reliable info for all of them.

Slash24, There are literally 20 AAA Games currently available on iOS, and GameHub? Hah emulating on your android requires demanding overhead on chip, which costs you your fps, even if you have a larger library of Games, iOS's ported AAA games runs smoother. Also outdated hardware has to suffer even more, cause emulation platforms always optimise for latest chips, so either you gotta stay on latest generation of smartphones (which is not very common among android users) or you gotta give your fps, to run a few more games at chopped resolutions

PocoX7Users, The A19 uses Metal. Android uses OpenGL/Vulkan. SInce iOS is a closed off and controlled environment, of course it wins! OpenGL and Vulkan optimize for HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS of SoC's.

PocoX7Users, Geekbench gpu tests counts and antutu dont? If you have any technical knowledge you can say which chip have better gpu just from analising their hardware specifications. Geekbench always was apple biased and when that bench is saying 19 pro gpu is 66% better than sd 8 elite gen 5 it is beyoned silly. Just look at their gpu specifications.

Both are great 8 elite is more powerful in Rae performance but who even uses it all time Ana A19 is great for battery And performance i like both but i prefer iPhone because of ios And more updates Most people fighting here on chips dont even own them or don’t even use them that much I dont care what you guys think in my opinion i like both in their ways

hahahah, Try comparing K90PM's camera to iPhone Air's, or it's software or it's longetivity or it's display quality... Kiddo, giving performance to cut down on everything else doesn't mean a great phone. The cost overhead on Apple is because it maintains the quality over anything else. And VC cooling? Snapdragons needed it because they were more brutal on performance maxing, while Apple maintained higher efficiency which already compensated for the cooling part

either way, it's better than the A19 Pro, also Apple said - A powerful chip like this produces alot of heat, and that is why we have included a vapour chamber in our iPhone 17 Pro's - Yet put that chip in the iPhone air with NO VAPOUR CHAMBER... yes it gets less power and therefore doesn't heat up as much, but it's also thinner, so the heat is so trapped... the 8 elite gen 5 is better anyway and anyday

Stop crying, It's not true, go check on the mobile, it's not even crossing 10.5K, and they have listed it's GB6 scores as 12k, like 12k was literally achieved on a test device which was under sub zero conditions, and made only for performance and no battery limit. irl that's just not possible

It's clearly not the case, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, OnePlus 15 and Honor Magic 8 Pro hasn't scored anything above than 10400 in Multicore of GB 6, and 3400 in Single core. Its NanoReview's fault that they haven't updated the scores in SoC sections, if you go one their mobile comparisions page between iPhone 17 Pro Max and above said phones, you will find actual scores of Snapdragon 8E G5 in GB 6. Antutu is just not comparable, and in the case of OnePlus 15 it cheats benchmarks by running proccessor a little overclocked than it's normal working conditions. So I think it will be clear to you.

Android is better than iPhone , My redmagic 11 pro scored exactly 4291372 in antutu benchmark, the room i was in was a bit cold but not to a large degree the closest iphone was the iphone 17 pro max with a max score of 2371555 in antutu, it's sustained performance is trash and as a heavy gamer (hence the redmagic) sustained performance matters more than anything else to me really

And you compare it with a phone (iPhone) that doesn't have liquid cooling, and even then iPhone 17 Pro Max is basically the same performance. Not only is apple better in single core performance which is the one that matters most in gaming intensive tasks, but it is also more power efficient in terms of cpu. ItzLa, Geekbench scores said 12000+ right? I watched the Hawaii event too, lil bro. Gotta regret to inform your illiterate a** that those scores were achieved by 20W power consumption. Do you know what 20W means? It means that if you put a 5000mAh battery (which Samsung is planning to retain for their S26U) and you start heavy graphics gaming on it, the number of hours you can play is about: 1. Full potential usage: 57 mins, 2. 50% potential: 97 mins, 3. 25% potential: 228 mins. So, do you understand that? What GB6 scores that were revealed in Hawaii are going to be unrealistic for a phone's standards, right? Now for the reality talk, Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is giving around the same 10000±200 scores compared to A19 Pro and in single core it is giving around 3700+ scores, which is lower by a margin of ±200 again from A19 Pro. So, do you now understand the situation here?

Samsung Trash, Yeah I ain't gonna lie the biggest thing hindering samsung at this point is them wanting to stay with 5000mah battery. I do get a day atleast out of my phone but I wouldn't mind more and alot of other manufacturers are starting to do 6000+mah battery (look at redmagic 11 pro it has 7500), also not trying to diss or anything just straight nerd facts I believe apples biggest battery right now(in Iphones only) is 5,088mah

Apple glazer, Lil bro, that's what I'm saying are you dumb? 20W is like M4 Pro MacBook Pro standards of Power intake which runs 16" screen. Your mobile is 6.9" only, do you really think the scores are realistic? Check it out now the scores are corrected on this site

Vishvaa, I don't know if they use Si-C battery (cause of swelling problem), but right now they collab with elone mask. It mean we gonna see a huge buff in battery section, even if it 5000Mah or 5400Mah.
