Let's not forget that Snapdragon 8XX series is built to last for 5 years+ which means that if you get a recent flagship SOC from Qualcomm today, you will get a continuous powerful performance 5 years later even if it overheats.

That's true Snapdragon flagship processors can deliver fast performance for at least 5 years without any issues not like midrange processors

Even with it's shortcomings, the sd8gen1 is a true flagship down to its core. Unlike the sd7 series just being an average midrange to its core, it'll be difficult to beat the 8series without a prime cortex-x. Unless, Snapdragon uses the performance core A725 on all 8 core configuration like the Dimensity 8400.πŸ€”
