In this situation I have to pick both Processors Snapdragon 865 and Dimensity 1200, better than Exynos any series, agreed?

All issues that ppl are talking about here could be due to firmware/drivers not being fully ironed because of hardware being so new. I am sure that things are getting sorted out already and D1200 is going to reach its full potential in few months when apps and games optimise as well as firmware.

The Mediatek Dimensity 1200 is unstable and the benchmarks are disappointing. It is easily bested in benchmarks by 4 generations of Qualcomm processors including the powerful 888, 870, 865+ and the 865. You have to go years back to the 855 to find a Qualcomm processor less powerful than the Dimensity 1200. More troubling is the system instability created by Mediatek overclocking the 1200 in an attempt to hide the weakness of their processor. Mediatek processors are fine for budget phones but tech savvy customers demand a powerful Qualcomm processor

Well, I think you're right to some extent. On paper, the Dimensity 1200 should have outscored Snapdragon 865/865+/870 in CPU test because not only it is made of a 6nm node, compared to 7nm node of SD 865/870 but also utilises the newer, faster cortex a78 @ 3.0 Ghz. However, in the CPU test, the DM 1200 sometimes scores lower than SD 865/870 in both the single and multi-core test. Besides, being the flagship of Mediatek processor, DM 1200 should be equipped with Mali G78 GPU, with at least 10-12 cores, which will hugely improve the performance in turn, instead of the Mali G77 GPU. Ideally, Mediatek should have made DM 1200 composing of 2 x cortex a78 @ 3.15 Ghz + 2 x cortex a78 @ 2.6 Ghz + 4 x cortex a55 @ 2.2 Ghz with Mali G78 MP12 GPU, made, if possibly, of 5nm node, which would make it very competitive even with the SD 888, not to mention SD 965/870

PeeCee, I feel like the choice of GPU is to reduce the cost of the chip. You have to remember that it's an upper midrange SoC, not really a flagship SoC.
